Water Billing



The Utility Billing Department will transition to a new software system on April 28th. As part of this upgrade, all Utility Accounts will require an update to their Water Account numbers. Your account number will be the same, minus the last two digits( Example: 4163-040000-86 will now be 4163040000)
The new system will also generate a unique Customer ID for each account. This new ID number will be reflected on your next bill. Please email the billing department if you need the ID number sent to you at waterservice@fountainvalley.gov. Please be aware that when making payments online or through our automated system, you will need to enter the new Water Account number and Customer ID as indicated on your new bill.
Customers with a registered account on our website will be able to log in using their existing credentials.
Those enrolled in autopay will not need to update their settings.

Fountain Valley City Hall hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday & closed every Friday.
Payments can also be made by calling our 24 hour payments line at 1 (833) 743-5199.
** All web & automatic payments are assessed NO convenience fee. **
** If your water has been disconnected for non-payment please make your payment and then call our office at 714-593-4420 to notify our customer service representative that a payment has been made. **
